1. General information

makits.com is an online marketplace based in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea. It allows people to buy and sell new and used products and services, and offers pre-orders for products that are not available locally. Products are listed by independent sellers; Online Makit acts as an intermediary between buyers and sellers.

2. Eligibility

• The website is open to the general public and to resellers.
• You must be at least 18 years old.
• Providing false, incorrect or misleading information is strictly prohibited.

3. Accounts and verification

3.1 Customers

Customers can use the website by providing valid basic information and are responsible for keeping their login details private.

3.2 Sellers and resellers

To create and verify a seller account you must provide:

• A valid National ID (NID) or passport
• An active email address
• A valid mobile phone number

We may approve, reject, suspend or close any account if false information or invalid documents are detected.

4. Orders

• There is no online checkout. Orders are placed directly with the seller through the Order Via WhatsApp button on the product page. See How It Works.
• The price, payment method and delivery agreed in that conversation form the agreement between buyer and seller.

5. Payment

• Because mobile banking is limited in Equatorial Guinea, payments are made with simple, manual methods agreed with the seller.
• Payment details are communicated clearly before the order is confirmed.
• No order is processed without payment confirmation. See Payment Methods.

6. Delivery

Delivery or collection is arranged with the seller; costs and estimated times depend on each product. See Delivery Methods.

7. Pre-orders

• Products that are not available locally may be ordered as a pre-order.
• Delivery times depend on suppliers, logistics and international availability.
• Customers are informed of any unavoidable delay.

8. Prohibited products and activities

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Selling stolen goods
• Selling illegal, counterfeit or illicit products
• Fraudulent or deceptive activities

Any violation leads to immediate action and, where applicable, legal measures under the law in force.

9. Responsibilities of users and sellers

• Each user is responsible for all activity carried out from their account.
• Sellers guarantee that the products they list are legal and rightfully owned, and that their descriptions are accurate.
• Violations are handled in accordance with the digital laws of Equatorial Guinea.

10. Returns and refunds

• Refunds depend on the product type and the conditions of the order.
• Used products are sold "as is" and may not be refundable.
• Pre-orders may not be refundable once international purchasing has started.

11. Privacy and data protection

12. Limitation of liability

• Online Makit acts as an intermediary and is not a party to the agreement between buyer and seller.
• We do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free.

13. Suspension and termination

Accounts may be suspended or closed if they:

• Break local laws
• Harm the security or reputation of the platform

14. Communication and support

Users can contact the administrator at any time through Customer Service or the contact form. We aim to provide a trusted, transparent and easy service.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms of Use at any time. The date at the top shows the latest version; continuing to use the website means you accept the changes.

16. Applicable law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea.
